Welcome to the Rotary Club of Portsmouth!
The Portsmouth Rotary Club is special. Our Club membership of approximately 240 consists of men and women, young and seasoned, doctors, lawyers, builders, veterinarians, real estate agents, clergy, non-profit directors, a city manager and fire chief, school board members, accountants, insurance agents, health care professionals, business men and women, auctioneers, marketing and public relations professionals, bankers, florists, plumbers, engineers, entrepreneurs, educators, hair stylists, dentists, architects, musicians, actors, painters, management consultants, restaurateurs - and the list goes on. The Portsmouth Rotary Club is simply part of the Seacoast culture. In fact it has been said that the best way to become a contributing member of our community is to become a Portsmouth Rotarian. Our service to the local community consists of awards to non-profits, schools, and students. We provided services to the elderly and needy. We organize several hands-on projects per year from cleaning walking trails to repairing the stage at Prescott Park. We are involved in International Projects that bring much needed medical services around the world as well as projects that bring clean water to undeveloped areas in other countries. The Portsmouth Rotary Club is special because we make a difference.
Our Rotary Club is also unique because we make sure that we have fun while making a difference in the lives of others. The smiles on the faces of our club members is not only from the self satisfaction of making a difference, it is also because we enjoy each other's company and laugh a lot.
We meet every Thursday at 12:15pm at the Redhook Ale Brewery located at the Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We invite you to visit us and to find out what Rotary is all about. Rotary Shares is Rotary’s motto and many of our members have found richer and more meaningful lives through membership in our club.
