Executive Commmittee

The Executive Committee works as a team to lead the Portsmouth Rotary Club and consists of the President, President-Elect, Vice President, and the Immediate Past-President. The terms for each position are one year, beginning July 1st through the following June 30th. We have a succession plan that moves a future President through a 3-year track with increased leadership responsibility.

 

The President presides over club and board meetings, appoints and works with committee chairs, creates an annual budget and works with our District Governor and Assistant Governor.

 

The President-Elect is the incoming President for the following year, and oversees our largest fundraising effort annually - Christmas Tree Sales.

 

The Vice President is the incoming President-Elect for the following year and chairs the Finance Committee and is Vice-Chair of Christmas Tree Sales.
